This Was True In The Catholic Church For Over 1600 Years. Do We No Longer Believe In The Incarnation?

 



The Nicene Creed was drawn up in the General Councils of Nicea in 325 A.D. and Constantinople in 381 A.D. to condemn heretics who denied that Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are God. For that reason, when the following words of the Creed are spoken everyone is supposed to kneel:

AND  WAS INCARNATE
BY THE HOLY GHOST
OF THE VIRGIN MARY
AND WAS MADE MAN
