The Hope of Future Glory Renders the Endurance of Sufferings Sweet

Being asked how he could bear such great suffering in his eyes and his whole body so joyously and courageously, the saint replied, "So great is the glory which I expect, that all pains, all sickness, all humiliations, all persecutions, all mortifications are pleasant to me."
